Say “Se Habla Mierda” in front of your mother and you might get your mouth washed out with soap, but it’s a fitting name for our new line of shirts. Se Habla Mierda is a sometimes-racy t-shirt line that was launched in September 2008.

We’ve been doing market research for our designs by setting up shop at local bars and various community events and the line of shirts have caught on extremely quickly. The response has been very positive, as we’ve expected, but with an unexpected twist - they've united Hispanic and American cultures.

Everyone was curious about what the shirts said and it made us realize that people with little or no Spanish speaking ability were interested in learning about it. They’d say, ‘I know what “Se Habla” means, but what’s that other word?’.

Our shirts are a mix of Spanish and English phrases and designs and are usually basic text – embracing the notion that less is more. What's more, we consider our designs a series and not just random shirts that are just slapped together and put out for distribution. Our shirts are silk screened and are made to last. It’s definitely not your typical shirt.
